Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of SQL, including data querying, manipulation, and performance tuning. A background in working with reporting tools such as Power BI or SSRS is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to deliver code and configurations aligned with specified requirements, standards, and deadlines. Exposure to unit testing, end-to-end testing, defect management, and release processes is desirable. Experience with configurable or low-code platforms can be beneficial. A good grasp of the software development lifecycle and the ability to translate requirements into effective solutions are essential. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a keen eagerness to learn are critical attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the delivery lifecycle, including:

  • Configuring and developing solutions based on detailed designs and client requirements.
  • Working with data to query, manipulate, and optimize performance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supporting build activities alongside senior developers and build leads to ensure smooth deployment.
  • Carrying out comprehensive unit testing and end-to-end testing to identify and resolve issues.
  • Investigating defects identified during testing phases and implementing appropriate fixes.
  • Supporting release preparation and deployment activities to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Participating in peer reviews to maintain high standards of quality and code integrity.
  • Engaging with the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure beyond isolated development tasks.
