At Beagle Aircraft, we're a leading aerospace manufacturer, producing precision-engineered components for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes.
We're investing in the future of our manufacturing operations through the implementation of MRP within our ERP platform, and we're looking for an experienced SQL Developer (ERP) to play a key role in this business-critical project.
Please note this role is a 4 month Fixed Term Contract
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative project team where you'll use your SQL expertise to support a major ERP implementation. Due to the nature of this contract, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
Experience with SYSPRO ERP would be highly advantageous, although candidates with experience of other manufacturing ERP systems are encouraged to apply.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Lead, you'll take ownership of the SQL and database workstream, supporting the implementation of MRP within our ERP system.
Working closely with Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Operations, you'll develop SQL solutions, manage data migration and reconciliation, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure manufacturing data is accurate, reliable and ready for go-live.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring someone who can work independently while collaborating with project stakeholders to deliver a successful ERP implementation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
