Job Title

G MASS Consulting are supporting a leading Lloyd's of London managing agency based in the City. We're looking for a SQL Server Developer to join their BI team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave.

About the Role

In this role, you'll create new and maintain existing SQL Server objects supporting an in-house developed data warehouse. You'll work closely with business users, internal clients, and the wider BI team to analyse requirements and deliver technical solutions.

This role offers hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the office. Hours are flexible, based on a 7-hour working day with a start time between 8am and 10am. The role is available to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Develop SSRS reports, maintain SQL Server database objects, and SSIS packages, and provide ad hoc data extracts
  • Work with clients, business users, and the BI team to analyse requirements and recommend technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot issues and carry out business-as-usual tasks supporting clients and employees
  • Manage all changes in line with release procedures, including source control, peer reviews, and full testing cycles
  • Provide technical support to SharePoint and web developers, including cover during absences
  • Help develop the business's API and cloud computing capabilities
  • Support the onboarding of new clients, working accurately to tight deadlines

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
