Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Account Manager based in United Kingdom.
This is a senior commercial role focused on owning customer revenue and long-term account growth across a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise clients.
You will lead renewals, identify expansion opportunities, and develop strategies that deepen customer value and retention.
The role combines strategic account management with hands-on commercial ownership and disciplined forecasting.
You will build trusted, multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders ranging from day-to-day users to Directors and VPs.
Working closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Legal, you will help customers unlock greater value and drive sustainable growth.
The environment is collaborative, data-driven, and highly autonomous, with a strong emphasis on ownership, commercial judgment, and customer outcomes.
This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact within a global B2B SaaS environment while managing meaningful revenue responsibility.
Accountabilities
- Own the full commercial strategy for a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts, including renewals, expansion, and churn mitigation.
- Drive account growth by helping customers adopt solutions more strategically, identifying new use cases, and clearly communicating business value and ROI.
- Build and maintain accurate renewal and expansion forecasts using a structured, repeatable, and data-driven methodology.
- Develop multi-threaded relationships across customer organizations, from operational stakeholders to senior executives, becoming a trusted commercial advisor.
- Partner closely with Customer Success to monitor account health, strengthen retention strategies, and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate with Sales on expansion opportunities and engage Finance and Legal when managing complex commercial agreements and renewals.
- Monitor usage data, customer health indicators, and account performance to inform commercial decisions and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Take ownership of the customer portfolio and continuously refine account strategies based on business performance, customer needs, and market insights.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Senior Account Management, Sales, Customer Success, or a comparable SaaS commercial role with direct responsibility for revenue; 5+ years is preferred.
- Proven experience managing a substantial book of business, ideally around $5M ARR and predominantly within the mid-market segment.
- Demonstrated success growing customer spend through genuine expansion, adoption, and value articulation rather than relying primarily on overages or contractual true-ups.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS commercial models, customer retention, expansion strategies, and revenue ownership.
- Ability to explain and apply a clear forecasting methodology, using data and sound commercial judgment rather than intuition alone.
- Comfortable working with usage data, customer health scores, dashboards, and other performance indicators to guide account strategy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop trusted partnerships across multiple levels of a customer organization.
- Highly organized, commercially minded, and proactive, with strong ownership of customer outcomes and business performance.
- Must be based in the Netherlands.
