Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future

The Sr. Advisor, Commercial Data Engineering supports Market Analysts, Strategists and Traders by developing and maintaining data solutions. The Sr. Advisor will primarily develop solutions which allow analysts and strategists to leverage and enhance existing data; while developing a strong understanding of commodity pricing, seasonality, and supply and demand drivers related to energy markets. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement tools and analyses to improve the efficiency and consistency of information communicated across the global Commercial organization
  • Own data quality in practice: completeness, mapping and transformation checks, duplication and history validation, and the defect backlog that comes with new sources
  • Build and maintain curated silver and gold data products for commercial domains, including outages, ship tracking, plant capacity and runs, market prices, and balances
  • Implement standardized, reusable transformations so calculations are defined once, documented, and consistent across every desk and every downstream tool

  • Lead information gathering processes and development of presentation packages as needed
  • Work to improve existing tools and processes used by the Commercial organization
  • Share knowledge freely and improving the team’s development capabilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
