Summary Of The Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished consulting leader to join our UK & EMEA Finance & Risk Advisory Consulting (FRAC) practice as a Senior Assistant Vice President. This is a market-facing leadership role responsible for driving growth across the UK and EMEA region. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, lead business development and strategic advisory engagements, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the practice.
The individual will bring deep expertise across one or more FRAC domains, combined with strong commercial acumen, industry credibility, and a proven ability to build high-performing teams and client relationships.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
Business Development & Market Growth
- Build and maintain a strong network of client executives, industry contacts, alliance partners, and influencers.
- Originate, qualify, and convert consulting opportunities across new and existing clients, developing account growth strategies in partnership with sector leaders and account teams.
- Contribute directly to annual revenue targets, pipeline generation, and practice growth objectives.
- Lead proposal development, client presentations, solution design workshops, and commercial negotiations.
- Represent the practice in industry events, roundtables, webinars, and client forums.
Client Advisory & Consulting Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior business stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Procurement, CISO, Data & AI, and other related domains.
- Lead client engagements spanning regulatory compliance, process transformation, controls assurance, risk management, and AI governance, leveraging thought leadership, data-driven insights, and AI-enabled solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Serve as a key member of the UK & EMEA FRAC leadership team, helping shape practice strategy, sector-focused propositions, go-to-market initiatives, growth plans, and AI-enabled consulting offerings.
- Drive practice growth and profitability through revenue generation, pipeline management, commercial oversight, resource planning, forecasting, and P&L accountability.

Practice & Commercial Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the UK & EMEA FRAC leadership team, helping shape practice strategy, sector-focused propositions, go-to-market initiatives, growth plans, and AI-enabled consulting offerings.
- Drive practice growth and profitability through revenue generation, pipeline management, commercial oversight, resource planning, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams across geographies, including management of 3-4 direct reports and broader project teams.
- Drive talent acquisition, workforce planning, staffing, succession planning, and team development to support practice growth.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development.
Thought Leadership & Market Presence
- Create and promote thought leadership on emerging regulatory, risk, technology, and business trends through publications, webinars, executive briefings, and industry forums.
- Enhance the firm's market visibility, reputation, and credibility across key sectors and target markets.
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
- 15+ years of consulting, advisory, risk, audit, compliance, finance, procurement, cyber security, or transformation experience.
- Proven experience within a Big Four firm, global consulting organisation, or similar professional services environment.
- Strong track record of business development, revenue generation, and management of senior client and executive stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated experience selling and leading consulting engagements, including proposal development, commercial negotiations, and executive-level stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex consulting engagements, multi-disciplinary teams, and geographically distributed delivery models.
- Commercially astute, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, pipeline management, and P&L accountability.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications highly desirable, including CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, IRMCert, AIGP, TAISE, CIPP/E, CIPT, CPSM, CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent.

Skills And Personal Attributes We Would Like To Have
- Significant expertise across multiple FRAC domains, including Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk & Resilience, Internal Audit & Assurance, Finance Advisory & Transformation, Procurement & Third-Party Risk Management, Cyber Security & Technology Risk, and Data/AI Governance & Responsible AI.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, internal controls, audit methodologies, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance practices.
- Experience serving clients across multiple regulated industries is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of at least two of the following sectors is desired: Insurance, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Banking & Financial Services, Utilities, Energy & Infrastructure, Retail, and Travel, Transportation & Logistics.
