Building the Future of Open Finance
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services, and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page to understand what drives us and how we work.
The Team
Krak brings the Kraken mission into everyday life as a money app that empowers people to earn, send, and spend instantaneously, with ease. Offering competitive yield on balances, transfers to 160+ countries, and instant payments to friends and family.
This role sits at the center of that. You're the standard-setter and creative spark, the person behind the brand, the marketing assets, and the campaigns that define what Krak looks and feels like, pushing the craft and consistency of every piece higher.
The Opportunity
- Lead brand refreshes and evolution for Krak, owning our visual identity, art direction, and design standards end to end.
- Make sure Krak looks and feels like Krak everywhere. The website, product launches, product marketing, lifecycle (email, CRM), paid acquisition, organic social, app store assets, and events.
- Bring 3D proficiency to the table, modeling our card product and other key visuals as part of the brand's look.
- Build motion systems and animations that give Krak's brand a sense of movement and life, from simple systems to more advanced work.
- Use AI tools for rapid concepting and production, and partner with video or advanced animation creators when a project calls for more depth.
- Develop and grow Krak's illustration style, producing original work for product and marketing while building a reusable library so teams aren't starting from scratch.
- Build scalable design systems. Figma component libraries, marketing templates, and localization-ready layouts that let any team produce on-brand work quickly.
- Create variable and auto-generated asset systems, plus modular campaign kits, so we can launch more often, in more markets, without more manual effort.
- Design creative automation workflows, programmatic copy and image swaps, multi-format exports, and localization at scale, whilst keeping quality high as volume increases.
- Stay hands-on with AI-assisted production pipelines, treating them as a core part of how Krak's brand gets made, not an experiment on the side.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
