About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Jet2.com. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining, analyzing, and managing requirements across our e-commerce platform, back-office systems, and mobile applications. Your expertise will enable us to maintain our competitive edge in the market by ensuring our digital solutions align with business objectives and customer needs. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to deliver innovative and efficient solutions that enhance the overall customer experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence strategic initiatives and contribute to the ongoing success of Jet2.com, supporting our vision of redefining travel experiences.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an agile or scaled environment. Proven experience working alongside development teams and managing complex projects is essential. Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and outstanding communication abilities are vital for success in this role. Additionally, experience in coaching and mentoring junior analysts, as well as a proactive and inquisitive mindset, will be highly valued. A background in the travel or e-commerce sectors is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results consistently.

Responsibilities
- Own and refine business requirements by capturing them as clear, testable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams and business stakeholders through agile ceremonies such as '3-amigos' and 'Refinement' sessions to ensure shared understanding of scope and objectives.
- Model business processes and solutions using workflows, user journey maps, and other visual artefacts to illustrate current ('as-is') and future ('to-be') states.
- Develop and maintain deep subject matter expertise in our products, systems, and business processes to provide informed guidance and support to teams.
- Identify and document potential risks, dependencies, and compliance considerations associated with projects and initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across departments to understand business needs and document how systems are utilized, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Coach, mentor, and line-manage Business Analysts, fostering professional growth and supporting their daily development.
- Contribute to the BA community by sharing best practices, participating in knowledge-sharing sessions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Lead BAs in complex analysis tasks, providing expertise and insights to resolve challenging business problems and system interactions.
