Position: Sr. Business Systems Analyst – IT/Finance

Department: IT/Finance

Work Location: Bussigny, Switzerland or London UK (Hybrid 3 days a week in the office)

Position Type: Full time, Permanent role

We are open to candidates who are currently travelable to either of our offices based either in Bussingy, Switzerland or London, UK – Applicants must have current eligibility to work in the country they apply in.

What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst (with a strong IT and Finance background) to support our growing EMEA operations.

This role will analyse, design, and implement solutions that enhance business operations, particularly in Financials, Incentive Compensation, Costing & Revenue Management Modules.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in process optimization, and a bachelor’s degree with progressive experience in providing IT solutions in Finance & Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

EMEA Support:

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for EMEA and global users on Oracle Financial Modules (GL, GIS, AP, AR, CM, GIS, Treasury, FA, Incentive Compensation, TM, Cost Management & FP&A) and other financial systems.
  • Coordinate with global teams to resolve EMEA and APAC specific issues.
  • Ensure timely response to EMEA and APAC user inquiries and incidents

System Implementation

  • Lead discovery workshops with Finance leaders and SMEs (Controller, GL, AP, AR, CM, GIS Treasury, FA, Incentive Compensation, TM, Cost Management & FP&A) using finance/business terminology.
  • Translate business processes into Oracle ERP (Finance) solution design, including fit-gap analysis, process redesign recommendations, and target-state documentation.
  • Create clear functional deliverables: BRDs/FRDs, process flows, configuration workbooks, test scenarios, and training materials.

Functional design and configuration guidance across Oracle Finance Modules, including:

  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Treasury / Incentive Compensation / Revenue Management (Plus)
  • Tax (EBusiness tax)
  • Cost Management
  • Intercompany & Intracompany (GIS and PO-Inv-AR-AP)
  • Trading Community Architecture (TCA)(Plus)
  • Supply Chain and Distribution experience is a plus

Advise On Accounting Structures

  • COA, ledgers, legal entities, business units, balancing segments, intercompany rules, accounting calendars, and subledger accounting (SLA Rules).
  • Solution Design, Testing & Stabilization.
  • Guide the end-of-the-end lifecycle: design → configure → test → train → cutover support → stabilization.
  • Partner with technical/integration teams to define functional requirements for:
    • Integrations (banking, procurement, payroll, billing platforms, third-party tax engines & Shopify etc.)
    • Reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting)

Process Improvement

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize Finance operations and enhance efficiency across EMEA.

Data Analysis

  • Analysing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Project Management

  • Managing and coordinating small-scale projects related to EMEA supply chain operations.

Technical Proficiency

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Financial systems and financial planning and analysis tools (e.g., Hyperion, OneStream).
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools (e.g., OBIEE, Power BI).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams.
  • Adaptability to understand business requirements and global regulations, and deliver effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in finance, accounting, or project management.
  • Experience with global financial operations and consolidations.
  • Technical skills in SQL is highly desired.
