About The Role
Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join its dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that impact public safety, environmental sustainability, and government operations. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications utilizing the.NET Core framework alongside modern web technologies such as React, Blazor, or Angular.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of the organization by contributing to the full software development lifecycle—from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance. Operating within a culture that values autonomy and creativity, you will be encouraged to innovate and propose technical solutions that meet complex client needs.
This role offers the flexibility of working remotely or from one of our offices located in Godalming or Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of up to £65,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or related fields. Extensive professional experience is essential, with a minimum of 8 years proven expertise as a C# Developer or in a similar software development role. Proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET framework, including .NET Core, is required.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, coupled with experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies, is vital. Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework, will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
Additional skills include experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as version control systems such as Git. Candidates must be eligible and willing to achieve a minimum of SC clearance, which requires residency in the UK for at least five years and the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C# applications, components, and systems that meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications to identify issues, optimize performance, and ensure system stability.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in web development and software engineering to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.
- Document technical specifications, design decisions, and system architectures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and team practices to enhance productivity and quality.
