About The Role
Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about software development to contribute to impactful projects across the public, private, and third sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using the.NET Core framework, complemented by associated web frameworks such as React, Blazor, or Angular. Operating within a culture that values innovation, independence, and technical excellence, the Senior C# Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, propose effective solutions, and deliver high-quality code that aligns with client needs and organizational standards.
This position can be based at client locations, work remotely, or at the company's offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes, offering flexibility to suit individual preferences. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant training, qualifications, and extensive experience in software development practices. A degree or equivalent qualification in a related field (such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology) is desirable. Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in C# programming and the .NET framework, including .NET Core. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum, and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework are essential.
Additional skills include excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to work both independently and within a team. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as version control systems like Git, will be advantageous. Candidates must be willing and eligible to achieve a minimum of SC clearance, which requires residency in the UK for at least five years and the legal right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining C# applications, components, and systems that meet project specifications and organizational standards.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams—including designers, product managers, and fellow developers—to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.
- Troubleshooting and debugging software applications to resolve issues and optimize performance.
- Staying current with emerging trends and technologies in web development and software engineering, applying new knowledge to improve existing processes and solutions.
- Documenting code and technical specifications to maintain clarity and facilitate future development.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and processes, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
