Senior Client Advisor - Sloane Street
Ulla Johnson is seeking a polished, results-driven Senior Client Advisor to join our retail team on Sloane Street.
Role Overview
The Senior Client Advisor is responsible and supports the leadership team in all aspects of selling and customer service. The positive and professional advisor will help build the Ulla Johnson brand one customer at a time; developing authentic relationships with clients in order to establish repeat business. This individual will serve as a brand ambassador on and off the floor, helping to drive sales, foster client relationships, and ensure operational excellence. The Sr. Client Advisor maximizes sales by delivering friendly and knowledgeable service while ensuring the store is neat, clean, and well-presented at all times.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client experiences aligned with Ulla Johnson’s brand values and service standards.
- Support store leadership in all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, delegation of tasks, and execution of floor leadership responsibilities.
- Take ownership of the sales floor during shifts, guiding the team to meet daily sales goals and maintain service excellence.
- Build and nurture lasting relationships with clients through genuine engagement, styling expertise, and consistent follow-up.
- Maintain impeccable store presentation, ensuring all visual standards and operational processes reflect the luxury positioning of the brand.
- Participate in and help oversee merchandise handling, including receipt of shipments, restocking, floor sets, and inventory management.
- Resolve client issues with discretion, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Act as a role model for peers by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to teamwork.

Experience
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a luxury retail or high-end client-facing environment with keyholder or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the luxury client and ability to anticipate needs with discretion and care.
- Proven ability to drive sales through styling, storytelling, and relationship-building.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Foreign language a plus, Arabic preferred
- Proficiency in MS suite (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and familiarity with retail systems.

About Ulla Johnson
Born and raised in Manhattan, the daughter of archaeologists, Ulla Johnson honed her signature style between the streets of New York and the far-flung destinations of their family travels. Her eponymous line, founded in 1998 just after her graduation from university, immediately caught the attention of the fashion press. Growing from a handful of directional boutiques and with an early endorsement from Barneys New York, Ulla Johnson’s collection has gained a dedicated following and the support of retailers across the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia. She has never wavered on her steadfast attention to the details of construction that have become her hallmark, basing each of her collections on a foundation of natural fibers, beautiful finishing, and ease of fit and form. Ulla lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three children.
