About ProBio CDMO ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy, vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. We are seeking a highly motivated business development professional to join our dynamic, fast growing ProBio's European Business Development team. This is a great opportunity to build and expand your experiences because you will be navigating through both biologics and Gene and Cell Therapy (GCT) space! Job Title: Sr. Commercial Business Development Manager Working Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Scheme: Fully Remote Location: Candidates reside in the UK is preferred, or with significant UK network or territory management previously) What You'll Be Doing Develop the business development strategy and oversee the effective execution, to achieve the financial goal in several EU countries/regions. Build country-specific strategies for regional market penetration and funnel of opportunities and deliver on revenue plans. Work closely with internal teams to promote and evaluate customer business needs and serve as the main contact for business acquisition. Proactively prospecting potential customers for the whole CDMO service lines and building long-term relationships with customers. Provide accurate CRM input regarding sales activities, forecast, and lost reporting as well as competitive information. Lead in the opportunity assessment, financial justification, due diligence, transaction design, contract negotiation, and completion of the deals, including but not limited to a strategic partnership, and co-development. Take the lead in strategic accounts management and strategic deal-making. Build and maintain a professional network with external companies and KOLs in the biopharma industry. Up to 50% of business travel is required for a customer visit What We Expect From You University degree in life sciences discipline, PhD Degree as a plus. Hunter’s mind, with EU biotech/Pharma customer network preferred. Fluent and professional English level, with an additional European language as a plus. At least 5 years’ experience of leading business development or commercial support, sales, project management, marketing and related functions in pharmaceutical or CDMO with a proven track record of achieving sales goals and closing large deals. Thorough understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry and motivated in learning new service solutions and/or new technologies. Exceptional awareness of the biopharmaceutical ecosystem and deal-making landscape. Team player with a can-do mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
