Job Summary
Position Overview:
As Insulet continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Sr. Compliance Specialist, EMEA, reporting to the Director, Compliance Officer, EMEA.
The Sr. Compliance Specialist, EMEA is a key member of the Compliance Team and serves as a lead for Healthcare Professional (HCP) engagement and sponsorship activities across the region, with responsibility for reviewing and approving initiatives to ensure that interactions with HCPs, Healthcare Organisations (HCOs), and other healthcare stakeholders comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes. The role will contribute to broader compliance programme activities, including training and other risk management tactics, and work cross-functionally to embed a strong culture of integrity and ethical business conduct across EMEA.
Responsibilities:
HCP Engagement Compliance
- Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for compliance matters relating to HCP engagement across EMEA, enabling the business to achieve legitimate objectives in a compliant manner.
- Partner with business functions (e.g., Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing) to provide pragmatic, risk-based guidance on HCP interactions, ensuring they are conducted ethically, transparently, and in line with applicable laws, industry codes (e.g., MedTech Europe, Mecomed), and internal policies.
- Lead the compliance review and approval of HCP engagement activities, ensuring they are appropriately structured, justified, and documented. This includes assessing the business need and rationale for the engagement, number and selection of HCPs, compliance with fair market value principles, and appropriateness of any associated transfers of value (e.g., hospitality).
- Ensure Insulet’s HCP engagement framework is clearly understood and consistently applied by the business and identify opportunities to enhance it in support of business objectives.
- Keep the Director, Compliance Officer, EMEA, appropriately informed of key activities, risks, and trends, and upon request generate reports to provide the Director, Compliance Officer, EMEA with clear visibility.
Sponsorship Compliance
- Act as the EMEA subject matter expert and primary point of contact for compliance matters relating to sponsorship of third-party organised educational events.
- Own and manage the end-to-end sponsorship review and approval process across EMEA, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, industry codes (e.g., MedTech Europe, Mecomed), and internal policies.
- Oversee the sponsorship contracting process, including drafting, and issuing agreements using approved templates, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Ensure the sponsorship framework is clearly understood and consistently applied; proactively enhance process(es) to better support business needs.
- Maintain centralised trackers and documentation to ensure transparency, traceability, and audit readiness; conduct post-activity and proof-of-performance reviews where appropriate.
- Keep the Director, Compliance Officer, EMEA, appropriately informed of key activities, risks, and trends, and upon request generate reports to provide the Director, Compliance Officer, EMEA with clear visibility.

Other Compliance Support
- Upon request, design and deliver targeted training to address specific compliance needs.
- Perform other duties as required to continue to grow Insulet’s Ethics and Compliance Programme.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and proven experience in Ethics & Compliance or similar internal control roles in the Life Sciences sector, with hands-on experience advising business teams on HCP/HCO engagements in line with industry codes and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to global Life Sciences companies, including, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and strong understanding of Life Sciences industry principles governing interactions with HCPs, HCOs, and related healthcare stakeholders.
- Commitment to ethics and integrity in all aspects of work; ability to drive a proactive ethical culture in which compliance and business objectives are mutually reinforcing.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally; must be able to work collaboratively with a wide variety of company functions and teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, refined communication skills (verbal and written) with fluency in written and spoken English required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently, and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge on the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Experience with data analytics.
- Fluency in French, German and/or Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
This is a hybrid or fully in-person position to be based at Insulet’s London Office in Hammersmith with a minimum of 1 day in the office per week. Travel may be required to additional Insulet offices depending on business needs.
