DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
About the Role
The Senior Demand & Supply Planner leads demand and supply planning activities for assigned Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) product portfolios across Europe and META. This role partners closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment between customer demand, inventory strategy, supply availability, and business objectives.
As a senior planning professional, this individual serves as a key business partner, driving forecasting excellence, inventory optimization, risk management, and operational performance. The role also provides functional leadership within the planning organization, supports strategic initiatives, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance planning capabilities and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead demand and supply planning activities for assigned ISG product portfolios across Europe and META.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by incorporating business insights, market trends, sales data, and supply chain information.
- Drive inventory and supply planning strategies that balance customer requirements, revenue objectives, operational performance, and risk management.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning reviews and alignment discussions with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Identify demand, supply, and inventory risks and develop mitigation plans to support business continuity and customer satisfaction.
- Lead planning governance processes, business reviews, and performance tracking activities.
- Support strategic business initiatives, process improvements, and automation opportunities that enhance planning effectiveness.
- Mentor and support planning team members by sharing best practices and promoting planning excellence across the organization.

Key Activities
Demand & Supply Planning
- Lead forecasting, demand validation, and scenario planning activities for assigned portfolios.
- Monitor forecast performance and identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure business assumptions are accurately reflected in operational plans.
- Evaluate market changes, customer trends, and business priorities that may affect demand and supply plans.
Inventory & Risk Management
- Develop inventory strategies that support customer fulfillment, inventory health, and financial objectives.
- Manage supply constraints, demand fluctuations, and operational risks through proactive planning and issue resolution.
- Recommend corrective actions based on business performance, forecast results, and supply chain insights.
Business Partnership & Leadership
- Coordinate planning activities across multiple functions and regions to ensure alignment on priorities and execution plans.
- Prepare and present business insights, planning recommendations, and performance updates to leadership teams.
- Act as a trusted planning advisor, supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and scenario modelling.
- Contribute to capability development and continuous improvement initiatives within the planning organization.
Success in this role will be demonstrated through:
- Achievement of forecast accuracy, inventory, supply continuity, and customer experience objectives.
- Effective management of demand and supply risks across assigned portfolios.
- Strong cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement across the planning process.
- Delivery of actionable business insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Successful execution of inventory strategies, supply mitigation plans, and planning governance activities.
- Continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, reporting capabilities, and team effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large and complex data sets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships in a matrix environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and improve business processes.
Preferred
- Experience with demand planning, forecasting, ERP, or supply chain planning systems.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Experience supporting regional or global technology, manufacturing, or supply chain organizations.
- Exposure to S&OP, inventory optimization, and supply risk management processes.

For Slovakia only: The anticipated initial gross base monthly salary range for this position is 2,742 EUR - 4,015 EUR per month, depending on experience, plus 12% variable pay based on annual earnings. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
