Sr. Designer, 3D (Spatial Planning & Rendering)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Designer, 3D (Spatial Planning & Rendering) based in United Kingdom.
This role offers an opportunity to lead the spatial design of ambitious brand experiences from initial concept through physical execution. You will transform creative briefs into compelling environments, combining strong visual storytelling with practical knowledge of materials, fabrication, and installation. The position goes beyond rendering, requiring you to shape concepts, develop spatial systems, and create experiences that work in the real world. You will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Design Directors, production specialists, and multidisciplinary designers to push ideas further. Your work will help bring campaigns to life across physical spaces and brand touchpoints while balancing creativity, technical requirements, and project constraints. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced 3D designer with strong spatial instincts, technical expertise, and a portfolio of successfully built work.
Accountabilities:
- Lead 3D and spatial design for major projects, translating creative briefs into compelling spatial narratives that can progress from concept to built reality.
- Develop spatial systems, architectural concepts, material palettes, and environmental designs that can adapt across different spaces, campaigns, and brand touchpoints.
- Create photorealistic renderings that accurately communicate lighting, materials, human scale, atmosphere, and the intended brand experience.
- Partner with Creative Directors and Design Directors to shape creative direction, challenge assumptions, and develop innovative spatial concepts.
- Translate creative concepts into production-ready solutions through technical development, documentation, fabrication, and installation.
- Apply a strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, environmental design, and real-world performance to ensure designs can be successfully executed.
- Collaborate with 2D and Motion Designers to integrate spatial concepts into broader visual systems and create cohesive brand experiences.
- Lead complex client presentations, communicate spatial concepts clearly, and confidently explain creative and technical decisions.
- Manage complex 3D design projects from concept through fabrication while balancing creative goals, deadlines, budgets, technical requirements, and production realities.
- Explore emerging technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and new creative tools to improve efficiency and expand the possibilities of 3D design.
- Contribute strategic and creative perspectives that influence broader campaigns and help advance the use of spatial design across projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
