Role Description
The Sr Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications that support Aumnitech’s cloud and digital solution offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Writing and reviewing code
- Collaborating with architects and product stakeholders
- Participating in technical design discussions
- Troubleshooting complex issues across the stack

This is a contract position based in Virginia, United States, with a hybrid work model that combines on-site collaboration with flexibility to work from home part of the time.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, or similar) and ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications in a cloud-native environment.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns, RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with third-party services.
- Proficiency with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), data modeling, and performance optimization in data-intensive applications.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and development best practices in collaborative teams.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor other developers, and make architectural recommendations aligned with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in a senior or lead developer role is highly beneficial.
