Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.
About the Role:
CrowdStrike’s Sensor and Language Tooling team is part of the Detections Platform group. We provide custom programming languages and tools that other engineers at CrowdStrike use to define system behavior and event flows.
We are adding an additional senior engineer to work on internal compiler tooling written in Python, and detection systems implemented in our domain specific language. In addition to the compiler itself, the team owns a number of common pipeline and runtime features, and team members frequently work in multiple domains and languages.
CrowdStrike is a globally dispersed company and you’ll be collaborating with developers in many locations. This role is in western Europe (UK or EU) but the team is spread between US, Europe and Australia. CrowdStrike has engineering employees around the world.
CrowdStrike is a computer security company, but we do not expect candidates for this role to have prior security industry experience. We will mentor and train in security topics as needed. We do expect a strong interest in CrowdStrike's mission and a willingness to grow into a position consulting on system design decisions and coordinating with other teams across the company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
