About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior 2 Front-end Engineer to lead the development of large-scale visual UI features in the Kestrel Graphs UI team. This is an opportunity to shape the future of graph visuals in our next-generation UI and make a significant impact in cybersecurity.
Key Leadership Focus Areas:
- Drive the architecture and design of complex UI graph systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Design, UI/UX Engineering, Cloud Engineering and stakeholders)
- Optimise Keylines usage to create scalable, high-performance visualisation layers
- Navigate the CrowdStrike Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with excellence
Your Responsibilities
Core Accountabilities
- Design & Lead Execution of large visual UI features impacting thousands of customers
- Leverage modern front-end technologies to architect ergonomic, high-performance graph systems
- Collaborate with Product Design, UI Dev, Backend Teams and Product Management to deliver cutting-edge visualisations with rich data-layer conditioning
- Mentor and grow junior team members through UI/Visual feature development
- Foster inclusive collaboration where feedback and ideas are valued
- Conduct code reviews and uphold a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure seamless integration with backend services and scalable performance

Technical & Stakeholder Workstreams
- Work with D3.js, Three.js or Keylines (bonus: prior experience with these libraries enhances impact)
- Craft complex browser-based visual solutions and explore graph theory for optimisation
- Develop micro front-end and web component-based shells with smooth multi-framework integration
- Bridge UI/UX design & back-end data challenges to reveal actionable insights in complex visuals
- Identify ways to reuse, extend and enhance existing Keylines Graphs capabilities in alignment with our long-term roadmap
What You’ll Bring

3+ years of experience in scalable front-end architecture, exemplifying impact in large-scale organisations

Technical Reflex: Proven ability to design and build rich visualisations (e.g., using libraries, APIs or custom solutions)

Knowledge of browsers & JavaScript ecosystems
- Strong expertise in modern Javascript frameworks (React, Preact, Vue et al.), Web Components, and SSG/SSR concepts
