Our unmatched expertise, partnership, and breadth of products allow us to fine-tune solutions that meet the specific needs of everyone from solo practitioners to larger practices. Role Overview

The Sr. FP&A Analyst is a strategic finance professional responsible for delivering advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and business insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering across functions to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and influence business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a forward-thinking mindset, leverages data to anticipate future trends, and continuously seeks innovative ways to improve financial planning, reporting, and operational performance. This position requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to mentor and develop less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range strategic plans.
  • Conduct complex variance analyses and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate business scenarios, investments, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner closely with department leaders to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting packages with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and actionable insights.
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities and proactively recommend actions to improve business performance.
  • Leverage financial data, technology, and reporting tools to enhance visibility into key business drivers.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems, reporting platforms, and analytical tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness within FP&A processes.
  • Act as a change agent by challenging assumptions, identifying innovative solutions, and helping the organization prepare for future business needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
