Sr. Global Payroll Director

What You'll Do
- Coordinate the full cycle of domestic and international payroll processing for US and global subsidiaries, ensuring flawless execution and compliance.
- Provide strategic mentorship to optimize payroll processes for scalability across various regions.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing payroll team, encouraging a positive, collaborative environment.
- Ensure team members are subject matter experts and primary points of contact for payroll inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as P&C leaders, Accounting, Finance, and Audit to align payroll with broader organizational goals.
- Engage with collaborators across different time zones to ensure effective communication and execution of business objectives.
- Develop and complete strategic plans to scale and optimize global payroll operations.
- Build and implement internal controls and workflows to guarantee compliance with payroll, tax, and benefits regulations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Stay updated on wage laws and regulations to ensure systems align with current standards.
- Lead the build and deployment of global payroll systems, ensuring compliance with data security regulations.
- Manage complex payroll-related queries and ensure timely resolution of issues, maintaining high service quality.

What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in global payroll management, with a proven track record of success.
- Understanding of international, federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with collaborators at all levels.
- Experience with payroll system build and implementation, particularly in a global context.
- High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide insightful mentorship on payroll matters.
- Strong dedication to continuous improvement and innovation in payroll processes.
