Senior Head Chef – Monday to Friday – Stunning B&I Site – Up to £63,000
Opportunity
A stunning B&I site in the heart of the city catering for 1500 covers daily is seeking a talented Senior Head Chef to run a flagship kitchen today, while helping shape where it goes next. This is a dynamic, fresh-food retail operation across a comprehensive breakfast and lunch offering, with speciality days and takeovers from well-known brands, and a people-centric approach throughout.
This is a Monday to Friday operation working for a boutique contract caterer with a reputation for excellence.
The Role
A rare mix of hands-on leadership and creative input — full ownership of the day-to-day operation, leading a brigade of 24.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Full day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Menu creation and development across the retail operation, drawing on global flavours and current trends
- Championing restaurant-quality food — consistency in quality and presentation every day
- Mentoring and developing the kitchen team, building a culture people want to be part of
- Overseeing financial targets, stock control and daily spend per head
- Daily client briefings and delivering hospitality functions to client specifications

The Candidate
- Strong understanding of high volume retail environments
- Experience leading and mentoring large teams in a fresh-food-daily environment
- A passion for creative menus with awareness of current food trends
- Strong financial acumen
- A calm, dependable leader — steady, supportive and consistent
- Highly organised, able to communicate vision and direction clearly
