Description
The Ops Tech Solutions Deployment (OTS-D) organization manages the IT Infrastructure scope of a complex suite of projects. It is responsible for the delivery of initiatives across business teams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfilment. Our projects deliver on the solutions that power the physical fulfilment of our customers’ orders. These projects include the deployment of IT Infrastructure for new site launches, new customer products and existing infrastructure enhancements across the globe that has a direct impact on the ability to ship packages to millions of Amazon.com customers across the world.
As a Sr. IT Program Manager of regional governance, you will be the regional owner of the Program Management Office (PMO), defining the overall strategy and driving initiatives to improve the tooling, governance and measurement of project and program performance across UK, EU and Middle East. You will drive regional governance and reporting mechanisms for our deployment projects and programs, define and measure key performance indicators, drive reporting compliance and data accuracy. You will use program performance indicators to identify and deliver initiatives to improve performance and operational efficiencies.
In this role you will also lead regional project and program resource demand forecasting and capacity planning. Supporting work allocation and prioritization discussions at a regional level.

Key job responsibilities
- Be the regional representative on Global PMO initiatives, supporting the execution in EU, UK and Middle East
- Define and measure our project and program performance KPIs
- Own forecasting mechanisms and actual reporting for program resources and budgets
- Support the creation and maintenance of regional governance mechanisms and policies
- Maintaining program management standard operating procedures
- Support enhancement definition and user testing of our program management tools
Basic Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in program or project management
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading process improvements
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- PMP
- Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts
- Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling
- Experience leading program management system/tool enhancement
