We’re looking for a Senior Learning Designer to join the Education division and play a central role in shaping our digital learning experiences. This role sits at the heart of how we design and deliver learning across CFA Institute, with responsibility for creating engaging, high-quality online learning and ensuring consistency and strong content governance across platforms and products. You’ll work closely with content teams, subject matter experts, and external partners, applying learning science principles and using data to continuously improve the learner experience.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver digital learning experiences across online platforms and programmes for global markets and languages
- Work with the localization workstream to localize content into effective, learner-centred experiences
- Apply adult learning theory and evidence-based design principles in course development
- Develop learner journeys, personas, and prototypes using research and data insights
- Use learning analytics to assess engagement and improve learning outcomes
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery is on time and to a high standard
- Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and the localization team to implement learning solutions across markets
- Ensure core, modular e-learning content, simulations, and blended learning assets are market-neutral in text, colour, and visual references, have permissions for use in global markets, and meet universal accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Drive learning content governance, standards, and documentation within RSuite and Canvas
- Establish and maintain standards for content structure, metadata, taxonomy, and version control to support content reuse and consistency across markets
- Promote and embed learning design best practices across the Education division
What We’re Looking For
- Experience designing and delivering adult digital learning products such as online courses, MOOCs, or executive education programmes
- Strong grounding in instructional design, learning science, and adult learning principles
- Experience using content authoring tools
- Experience working with learning management systems, content management systems or digital learning ecosystems (experience with Canvas or Rsuite is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience working with and influencing stakeholders, including subject matter experts
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to drive outcomes
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
