Role Purpose
The Senior Manager Brand Experience Design (Retail & Events) creates distinctive experiences across retail spaces, pop-ups, activations and events. You will translate brand strategies, channel ambitions and consumer needs into physical experiences through spatial design, storytelling and creative problem-solving.
Combining strategic leadership with hands-on creativity, you will bring brand stories to life, create clarity in ambiguous situations, visualise solutions and guide agencies and multidisciplinary partners.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead retail, event and experiential design projects across channels and markets.
- Turn brand strategies and consumer journeys into experiences through ideation, sketching, spatial design and storytelling.
- Shape briefs with stakeholders, challenge assumptions and define solutions as needs evolve.
- Work with teams and agencies to integrate environments, visual communication, content, digital touchpoints and brand assets.
- Adapt global brand assets to local cultures, consumer needs and market realities.
- Develop design principles and best practices, balancing consistency with flexibility.
- Lead multiple projects while contributing to concepts, design development and problem-solving.
- Ensure design quality and a strong consumer experience.

Profile & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in retail, experiential, spatial, event or environmental design within a global brand, agency or consultancy.
- Proven ability to develop physical experiences from concept to implementation.
- Strong portfolio showing creative thinking, spatial storytelling and consumer-centric design.
- Ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on creativity.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, agencies and specialist partners.
- Knowledge of visual communication, graphic systems, layout and spatial storytelling, including adapting global assets for local relevance.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Collaborative and self-directed, able to navigate ambiguity, solve open-ended challenges and adapt to change.
- Experience working across global teams, markets and cultures.

Design & Creative Tools
- 3D modelling and visualisation tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD or equivalent.
- AI-enabled creative, visualisation and ideation tools.
- Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Ability to create sketches, visualisations, renders and presentations.
