Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial FP&A to join our EMEA Commercial Finance team within the Genetic Sciences Division, Life Sciences Solutions Group. In this role, you will partner with commercial leadership to drive strategic decision-making through financial planning, forecasting, business analytics, and investment management. You will leverage forward-looking analytics, business acumen, and modern finance tools to support business growth, optimize operating expenses, and enhance commercial performance.

Working closely with the Director of Finance and senior business leaders across EMEA and Global teams, you will have broad organizational visibility and the opportunity to influence key business decisions while supporting long-term strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global and EMEA Commercial Leadership to support business growth through customer analysis, deal management, KPI tracking, trend analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Utilize data visualization tools and AI-enabled analytics to improve reporting, identify growth opportunities, streamline workflows, and generate actionable insights.
  • Lead Operating Expense, Headcount, and Investment planning, management, and reporting processes.
  • Drive forecasting activities, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Strategic 5-Year Plan (STRAP) in partnership with business leaders.
  • Develop financial models, define performance metrics, and provide strategic insights that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and reporting through Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field (MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage).
  • Typically 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong business partnering experience with commercial leadership in a multinational organization.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills with expertise in Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled analytics.
  • Experience working within a complex, global, matrixed organization.

Salary

The final offer will depend on the candidate's experience, skills, and competencies.
