Senior Manager, EMEA Partner Marketing

Why This Role is Exciting

Optro is seeking a marketer leader for the Senior Manager, EMEA Partner Marketing position. This is a newly created, highly strategic role with cross-company visibility. You will own building a programmatic, growth-oriented partner marketing function across the EMEA region that drives further acceleration of Optro’s international expansion with and through partners. You will be responsible for full-cycle partner marketing for Optro’s expanding EMEA ecosystem, including with advisory firms, solution providers, hyperscalers and technology partners, increasing strategic partner engagement and measurable pipeline and bookings growth. In close collaboration with the Alliances, Regional Marketing and Regional Sales teams, you will execute on tightly coordinated regional growth plans and to-, through- and with-partner marketing activities including EMEA partner marketing enablement, partner activations, localized partner asset and campaign creation, and partner field event management. The role reports to the Director of Partner Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design the annual and quarterly marketing strategy with EMEA partner accounts, that supports the regional partner business strategy, ensuring a regular cadence of new solutions, next-level services, customer wins and other marketing moments for thought leadership, awareness and demand generation
  • Own the overarching EMEA regional partner marketing plan, and plans with managed partner accounts, as well as measurement and reporting. Proactively develop optimizations as needed
  • Partner with regional marketing and direct sales teams to ensure the regional partner marketing plan complements and integrates with regional go-to-market plans
  • Leverage your deep understanding of various partner demand levers, to execute a range of marketing tactics that contribute significantly to pipeline and revenue goals as set in the partnership business plan
  • Increase engagement and preference for Optro with EMEA alliances, value-added resellers, solution providers, and other ecosystem partners via activation campaigns and marketing enablement programs
  • As the Optro EMEA Partner Marketing leader, educate and evangelise internally to Optro and to the partner company on requirements and support needed to hit EMEA sourced pipeline and revenue targets
  • Own regional partnership narrative development, including for joint value propositions, joint solutions, and use cases, with tailored messaging frameworks for partner sellers, Optro sellers, and partner customer personas
  • Serve as the strategic business partner for EMEA Alliances Managers ensuring ongoing alignment with Sales objectives
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Partner Operations, and other colleagues on campaign tracking and measurement
  • Participate in joint sales and marketing pipeline reviews with partner accounts, to identify early potential issues and suggest mitigations to keep pipeline attainment on pace

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • 10+ years of experience in Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Demand Generation, GRC, or B2B SaaS
  • Significant hands-on experience managing with- and through-partner demand generation campaigns with various partner types, such as advisory firms, consulting integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, and technology partners
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, comfortable digging into technology and product details in order to craft compelling narratives for a range of buyers, including C-suite and technical decision makers
  • Impressive portfolio of a range of high-impact content that you’ve created, both partner- and customer-facing on a range of technologies
  • Compelling presenter, able to lead discussions and drive to results with partner and internal senior executives
  • Proven track record designing and executive a range of campaigns (webinars, in-person events, digital campaigns, ABM, etc) that deliverable measurable pipeline and revenue
  • Experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS environments, ideally in a leadership-level IC capacity.
  • Strong multi-tasker, managing multiple concurrent workstreams while ensuring strong alignment with internal and partner stakeholders
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, and autonomy in executing complex, deadline-driven projects
  • Understanding of partner portals and how marketers can best leverage portals to grow partner-sourced demand at scale
  • Expert in MDF management, including workflows and reporting
  • Experience in GRC/Audit GTM roles is a plus
