Sr. Manager of Copy and Brand Storytelling
About the Role
This is a senior creative role for someone who can make a brand impossible to ignore through sharp, culturally relevant storytelling.
You’ll own the voice of the brand across campaigns, social, retail, partnerships, launches, and emerging channels.
Working closely with creative, brand, social, growth, e-commerce, retail, and legal teams, you’ll turn ideas into work that feels distinctive and human.
You’ll also mentor a Junior Copywriter, helping develop their craft while creating space for independent thinking and ownership.
The role combines hands-on writing with big-picture concept development, from campaign platforms and scripts to naming and entirely new brand identities.
You’ll have significant creative freedom and the opportunity to push the brand in new directions without losing its core personality.
The ideal environment is fast-moving, collaborative, low-ego, highly ambitious, and genuinely committed to doing exceptional creative work.
Accountabilities
- Own and continuously evolve the brand voice across campaigns, product launches, social, retail, partnerships, and other customer touchpoints.
- Manage and mentor a Junior Copywriter through creative direction, thoughtful feedback, coaching, and opportunities to build independent ownership.
- Write and develop scripts for TV, social, digital, brand campaigns, and emerging formats.
- Create campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, naming, brand narratives, and other creative platforms.
- Partner with the Social Media Manager to develop social-first concepts, recurring content, and culturally relevant ideas.
- Collaborate with the Art Director, Creative Director, and senior Brand leadership to develop new brands from the ground up, including positioning, naming, voice, messaging, and launch strategy.
- Develop creative narratives for collaborations and partnerships in close partnership with senior Brand stakeholders.
- Work with Legal to translate product claims and benefits into clear, compelling language while ensuring communications remain accurate and compliant.
- Partner with Retail to bring the brand to life in stores through messaging, storytelling, signage, displays, and other customer-facing experiences.
- Collaborate with Growth and E-commerce teams to carry campaign concepts and brand storytelling across digital experiences and performance channels.
- Challenge the brand to evolve, experiment, and move into new creative territory while preserving the qualities that make it distinctive.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
