As a Senior Merchandiser Coordinator at Optimum Nutrition, you will develop and execute strategic product assortments to enhance the online shopping experience and drive ecommerce revenue across the EMEA region. You will manage product assortments on our digital platforms using merchandising tools and systems to ensure the right products are featured and available at the right time.

You will continuously improve the online customer journey by staying on top of new features and functionality. Your role will involve leveraging data-driven insights to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and refine strategies to optimize product assortment and conversion rates.

In addition, you act as a trusted business partner to local market teams—ensuring collaborative, insight-led decisions that enhance performance and customer experience.

Collaborating closely with key stakeholders like the Senior Merchandising Manager, eCommerce Manager, local teams, CRM Lead, and Media Team, you will ensure that our merchandising efforts align with broader business goals and customer needs, creating a comprehensive 360° journey. You will use insights to continuously improve the online shopping experience and manage regular reporting on key metrics such as sales performance, customer satisfaction, and the effectiveness of new merchandising enhancements.

By staying up-to-date with ecommerce and merchandising trends, you will integrate best practices into your strategies, ensuring Optimum Nutrition’s online presence remains at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Content & Campaign Execution: Lead the execution of integrated content and marketing campaigns in collaboration with global and local teams, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market-specific needs.
  • PDP Optimization: Drive continuous improvements to Product Detail Pages (PDP), enhancing user engagement and implementing strategies that increase conversion rates through data-driven insights.
  • Customer Journey Optimization: Analyze and optimize the customer journey to improve engagement and streamline the shopping experience across all digital touchpoints.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Implement strategies to boost conversion rates by enhancing product presentation, site layout, and checkout processes.
  • New Site Development & Launch: Oversee the development and successful launch of new websites, ensuring timely delivery and optimal user experience through cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop and Implement Product Assortments: Create and execute strategic product assortments across EMEA digital platforms to optimize the online shopping experience and drive ecommerce growth, ensuring the right products are featured at the right time.
  • Enhance the Online Customer Experience: Continuously improve the online shopping journey by staying up-to-date with new features and functionalities, and implementing changes that drive conversion rate optimization.
  • Utilize Data-Driven Insights & Performance monitoring: Analyse performance data to evaluate assortment effectiveness, identify optimisation opportunities, and refine sales-driving strategies, while sharing clear, actionable learnings from site optimisations (what changed, why, impact, and next steps) across markets.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Senior Merchandising Manager, eCommerce managers, and local teams to ensure merchandising efforts align with overall business goals and meet customer needs.
  • Track and Report Key Metrics: Act as a key point of contact for markets by advising on merchandising best practices, identifying commercial opportunities, and challenging the status quo, while proactively monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to deliver actionable insights aligned with business objectives.

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • 3+ years of experience in an eCommerce environment, ideally in an eCommerce executive, merchandise, customer journey role
  • Hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail, D2C, or sales environment
  • Proficiency with software like Magento, Wordpress, preferably with Shopify
  • Competence with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in digital environments.
  • Proactive and results-driven, able to work efficiently in fast-paced settings with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues
  • Customer-centric, with a clear focus on understanding shopper needs and behaviours
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset, highly motivated and action-oriented
