Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer
Contract: Freelance, inside IR35
Location: Greater Manchester, hybrid — approximately two days per week in the office
Duration: Initial contract, with potential to extend
We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to build and improve business applications for a large, complex organisation. You will work with business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to turn requirements into reliable solutions, while providing technical guidance to other developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and enhance solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
- Build custom features, workflows, plugins and integrations with other business systems.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend practical technical approaches.
- Review code, resolve complex issues and support testing and deployment.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to development standards.

Experience required
- Strong commercial experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Hands-on skills in Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, C#, JavaScript and APIs.
- Experience integrating Dynamics with external systems and working with Azure services.
- Confidence taking ownership of technical work and communicating with both technical and business teams.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.

Experience with a utilities company would be an advantage, particularly where Dynamics supports customer or operational processes.
This is a freelance opportunity for someone who can contribute at a senior level while remaining hands-on with development.
