Amazon is revolutionizing the vehicle discovery and shopping experience, connecting customers with their ideal vehicle. As a Sr. Partner Integration Manager, you will own the relationship with the dealer systems and third-party integrators that dealers depend on. Sitting at the intersection of Business Development, Engineering, and our integrator community, you are the trusted technical advisor and two-way translator — shaping the right integration paths for new partners, keeping integrators ahead of API changes, and driving our documentation toward true self-service.
This role requires deep understanding of automotive dealer systems and independent judgment about what is operationally critical for a dealer. You must be technically fluent (able to read API specs, reason about data flows, and troubleshoot integrations), excel at navigating ambiguity, and thrive in an entrepreneurial, with excellent interpersonal skills.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the technical foundation of Amazon’s automotive business. Your insights from working directly with the integrator community will directly influence our APIs, documentation, and marketplace within the Automotive sector.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with the BD team to assess prospective dealer and platform partners’ systems architecture and define the right integration path with Amazon's automotive business, bringing solutioning expertise into partner conversations.
- Map dealer/DMS/platform capabilities to our APIs, surface constraints and dependencies early, and apply independent judgment on what is critical for dealer operations (inventory accuracy, transaction flows, data fidelity) to steer integration design.
- Work closely with Engineering to understand upcoming API updates, deprecations, and new capabilities before they ship.
- Proactively communicate API changes to the integrator community with enough lead time and clarity for them to plan and execute their own updates.
- Act as the first line of technical support for integrators — answering questions, troubleshooting integration issues, and escalating to Engineering when needed.
- Drive the accuracy and currency of API documentation by coordinating with the internal owners of each API surface.
- Feed real integrator questions and friction points back into the documentation to continuously push it toward true self-service and reduce question volume at the source.
- Build and manage durable relationships across BD, Engineering, documentation owners, and the external integrator ecosystem, operating with influence.

A day in the life
As a Sr. Partner Integration Manager, you will work cross-functionally with Business Development, Engineering, and Product Management, while building and maintaining relationships with technical stakeholders across our external integrator and dealer-platform community. One part of your day may be spent advising BD on a prospective partner’s integration path; another translating an upcoming API change into clear guidance for integrators; another troubleshooting a live integration issue and feeding what you learn back into the documentation. You will be instrumental in defining how integrators build on Amazon's automotive business, providing valuable technical insights to product and engineering teams, and creating initiatives that scale integrator self-service.
This role is based in London with occasional travel to meet with dealer platform partners and integrators.

This role explores opportunities to innovate in the automotive space. Our team aims to raise the bar on the car buying experience for end customers, while enabling industry partners and integrators to build and grow efficiently by leveraging Amazon’s capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer-facing role, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with REST API based services and experience in managing and troubleshooting network
- Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers and business stakeholders
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Direct experience with automotive industry systems — DMS, dealer inventory/feed systems, CRM, or digital retail/commerce platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with APIs and technical integrations
- Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders
- Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities
- Prior experience at a DMS provider, dealer platform, automotive marketplace, or OEM digital team.
- Familiarity with automotive data standards (e.g. STAR, ADF/XML, inventory feed formats).
