Job Description Summary

As a Senior Principal AI Software Engineer, you will establish a technical vision, oversee and lead AI architecture, AI platform and identify reusable foundational services to accelerate AI application development. Using your AI expertise, competitive intelligence and customer knowledge to conceive, evaluate, and design Industrial AI Service offerings.

Apply a strategic understanding of the timing and rationale of AI design choices and help decide upon critical design areas early in the development process. You’ll drive new ways of thinking, across groups within business units, to improve quality, engineering productivity and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities.

You’ll integrate LLMs, agent workflows, NLP, computer vision, RAG, and predictive analytics to build secure, high-availability and cost-efficient AI-based solutions.

We will count on you to tailor communication to a variety of audiences and perspectives and anticipate issues to prevent conflict. We will depend on you to choose appropriate internal or external technologies, incorporate research, and create designs that are reused across teams. We’ll count on you being an excellent judge of AI practices that work well.

You’ll partner with product, data science, engineering leaders, business executives, and CIOs. You’ll mentor teams, and raise standards in AI development, testing, security, and documentation. We support growth, autonomy, and collaboration across research and product.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
