Product Manager – Point of Care Meds
Reports To: Director, Product Management, International
This role is responsible for driving the vision and strategy for point-of-care solutions, including digital solutions for medications within hospitals. This encompasses product lifecycle management, from strategic planning to tactical execution across portfolio evolution.
A successful candidate will represent the voice of the market to stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decision-making while also assessing the impact of decisions on operational and financial metrics. This position requires collaboration across business units, including the US Point of Care team (including out-of-hours coordination), and influencing other departments in a constructive way.
Responsibilities

Own the medication point-of-care portfolio, addressing both hardware and digital solutions for hospital product lines; increase mindshare internally and externally.

Lead product line forecasting and revenue tracking.

Assess market priorities, including new market entry strategies and focused deployment.

Enable co-creation sessions with key customers or Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Identify market problems and define the Unique Selling Proposition (USP).

Conduct market research, evaluate the competitive landscape, assess technology maturity, and evaluate market fit.

Work with the engineering team to build and share the product roadmap with cross-functional partners and distributors.

Align on market demands and user needs; then collaborate with product marketing to develop strategic campaigns.

Support product marketing in developing sales tools, value propositions, presentations, battle cards, and ensuring sales readiness (including distribution partnerships).

Prepare and support the launch of new products, ensuring all customer-facing materials are aligned with marketing requirements.

Analyze new market trends and work with engineering teams to enhance existing products or introduce new features.

Collaborate with Business Operations to streamline sales funnel reporting against business metrics.

- Define product positioning, buying processes, buyer/persona scenarios, use cases, and launch strategy.
- Proactively engage with country field marketing managers in driving commercialization to the Hospital market.
- Take end-to-end ownership of release program direction and execution, overseeing cross-functional teams.
- Align with the US counterpart for major release and program decisions (schedules, product features, testing levels, market launches) to ensure a cohesive strategy.
- Ensure the successful completion of projects and secure customer acceptance for final product releases.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of customer workflows, demonstrating how product releases maximize revenue and operational impact.
- Ability to strategically align products to revenue and income goals, reflecting a firm grasp of the business model.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, critical for success in a matrix organization.
- Proficiency in collaboration with product marketing, engagement teams, sales, engineering, and customers to meet business demands.
- Capacity to interface effectively across teams, prioritize multiple projects, and apply critical analytical thinking.
- Self-driven and accountable, with an ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in cross-functional influence, from technical stakeholder meetings to executive presentations, including external C-suite engagements.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Healthcare Management, Business (or related fields), or IT.
- Experience in Product Management and scaling product adoption across organizations.
- A Master’s Degree (preferred) in Business, IT, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Healthcare/medication or supply chain experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile development processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospital pharmacy workflows and challenges.
- Digital and data-driven decision-making skills required.

Experience & Support
- Work Environment: Primarily remote work within an office setting.
- Travel Requirements: 25-30% ( predominantly UK & Europe), with potential for additional needs in Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North America.
- Salary: £90,000 - £105,000 (variable based on location, qualifications, experience, and skillset).
