Sr. Product Manager, Core Platform
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Core Platform based in United Kingdom.
As a Sr. Product Manager, Core Platform, you will lead the strategy and evolution of the foundational platform that powers innovative AI-driven products at scale. You will define and deliver core capabilities that improve security, reliability, scalability, and developer experience across the entire product ecosystem. Working at the intersection of product, engineering, infrastructure, and customer needs, you will transform complex technical challenges into impactful platform solutions. This highly collaborative role offers the opportunity to influence long-term product architecture while enabling faster innovation and seamless product delivery. It is an ideal opportunity for an experienced product leader who thrives in fast-paced, technology-driven environments and enjoys building the foundations behind world-class software platforms.
Accountabilities
- Define and execute the roadmap and strategic vision for the core platform, aligning priorities with business objectives and product needs.
- Lead the development of foundational platform capabilities, including identity and access management (SSO, RBAC), data management, APIs, integrations, and shared platform services.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout product discovery, design, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Gather feedback from product teams, implementation specialists, customers, and technical stakeholders to identify platform opportunities and pain points.
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear product specifications, success metrics, and delivery plans.
- Drive initiatives that improve platform scalability, security, governance, reliability, extensibility, and overall product velocity.
- Partner with infrastructure, architecture, security, and customer-facing teams to ensure platform capabilities support both current and future product needs.
- Monitor platform performance, adoption, and user feedback to continuously optimize platform capabilities and user experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in Product Management with ownership of complex technical products or platform capabilities.
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise platform features such as identity and access management (SSO, RBAC), data ingestion, streaming, APIs, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and hybrid or on-premises deployment environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear product roadmaps and successful deliveries.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with AI, machine learning platforms, industrial software, manufacturing technologies, analytics solutions, or data management practices is considered an advantage.
- Experience working directly with technical users and translating complex requirements into scalable platform solutions is a plus.
