This position is responsible for providing management and direction for projects associated with the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of Fortra products for new and existing customers.

What You'll Do

  • Manage assigned projects through successful completion, ensuring compliance with project lifecycle and project management principles.
  • Act as primary contact communicating with customers regarding process, progress, and completion.
  • Guide, mentor, and evaluate internal project team performance within project guidelines.
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on challenges and success of assigned projects.
  • Perform or coordinate follow-up as necessary to complete projects and elicit customer satisfaction.
  • Create timelines, agendas, and meeting recaps to keep project on time and according to defined budget.
  • Report project status, schedules, issues, resolutions, and completions as needed.
  • Create and track implementation milestones that tie to value for the client (ROI)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing software product implementation projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • Confident and positive attitude in facing complex organizations and processes.
  • Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and quality.
  • Effective interpersonal and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively manage and organize multiple projects and responsibilities.
