Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives across the Deal Management organisation.

This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing complex cross-functional projects that support commercial operations, process improvement, governance, analytics, automation, and business transformation objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered successfully, risks are managed proactively, and business objectives are achieved.

This role requires an individual who combines strong project management discipline with the ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Role Description

Project Leadership

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects across the Deal Management portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and budget parameters.
  • Coordinate activities across business, technology, and operational teams.

Planning & Execution

  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Establish project governance and reporting frameworks.
  • Track project progress and manage delivery against key milestones.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery challenges and dependencies.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and implementation activities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams.
  • Facilitate project workshops, planning sessions, and governance meetings.
  • Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and delivery teams.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Maintain project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Escalate critical issues appropriately and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Ensure risks are actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor scope changes and assess potential impacts on delivery.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Support business readiness and adoption activities.
  • Coordinate training, communications, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Assist business teams in transitioning new capabilities into operational use.
  • Promote consistency and best practices across project delivery activities.

Governance & Reporting

  • Produce project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Monitor project performance against agreed success measures.
  • Support programme governance activities and executive reporting.
  • Ensure project documentation remains accurate and up to date.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

The estimated annual pay for this position is £80,000 to £100,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
