Sr. Project Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Project Manager based in United Kingdom.
This remote role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of software project delivery from initial planning through release. You’ll coordinate developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to keep projects progressing against clear timelines and expectations. The position combines hands-on project management, requirements clarification, delivery tracking, risk management, and release coordination. You’ll play a central role in identifying blockers early, driving recovery actions, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the development lifecycle. Success requires strong organization, communication, and follow-through, along with the confidence to manage scope and changing priorities. It’s an ideal opportunity for an experienced project manager who enjoys working closely with technical teams and ensuring software projects are delivered reliably and on time.
Accountabilities:
- Own software projects end to end, from planning and execution through release and delivery.
- Build and maintain detailed delivery plans with clearly defined tasks, owners, milestones, and deadlines.
- Track project progress regularly, identify potential delays or risks early, and drive appropriate recovery actions.
- Work directly with developers and QA teams to resolve blockers, maintain momentum, and ensure delivery remains on track.
- Clarify requirements with business stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable development tasks.
- Manage project scope and change requests, assessing and communicating their potential impact on timelines and delivery.
- Plan and coordinate software releases, including readiness checks and alignment with QA.
- Provide clear and timely updates on project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and delivery progress to stakeholders and management.
- Maintain strong coordination across technical and business teams to ensure priorities and expectations remain aligned.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
