Broad Outline of the Role
Responsible for planning and implementation of projects related to network or large infrastructure installations, for example wireline, wireless, IP services, ATM deployment etc. in line with the business requirements. This is a tactical role which contributes in defining the direction of the operating plans based on the business strategy, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
- 15-20 years relevant experience in infrastructure project management and on field experience
- PMI-PMP Certified

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design and implement projects within the allocated budget, defined scope, and timelines as per the required processes and procedures.
- Review and assess business requirements shared by Product teams and guide team to evaluate the design implications along with relevant engineering team.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements and track project deliverables.
- Plan and coordinate site preparation for readiness related to ramp up of resources and infrastructure (i.e., power, construction, back haul, colocation etc.)
- Monitor progress of site deployment through detailed activity plan for each site.
- Liaise with relevant teams to discuss service impacting event schedules to seek sign off.
- Review site audits from time to time and ensure compliance including site commercial terms with respective sites or parties.
- Interact with vendors, construction contractors, logistics firms, Govt. authorities as appropriate to get requisite permits for deployment or installation.
- Constantly monitor and report on project progress and status to all stakeholders
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and ensure timely approvals through a predefined process or mechanism.
- Ensure compliance with internal or external standards and compliance requirements and ensure readiness for audit all the time.
- The role may lead a large team.
