We are looking for a passionate and driven Pre-Sales Engineer to join our SLED Team focused on our Central Territory, contributing to our mission of helping customers stay ahead of evolving threats.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide technical guidance and tailored demonstrations.
  • Be a trusted advisor, effectively communicating Corelight’s value propositions to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Customize and deliver compelling product demos and Proof of Value (POV) engagements that showcase the strength of our solutions.
  • Engage with customers to understand their challenges, architect solutions across diverse environments, and drive business outcomes.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing deployment strategies across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Partner with our engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth delivery and feedback loops.
  • Expect to travel approximately 50% of the time to meet customers and support in-person engagements.

Who You Are:

  • A problem-solver with a deep understanding of network security and a knack for communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and impactful way.
  • Passionate about learning and continuously evolving with the latest in security technology.
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, low-ego environment where results matter more than titles.
  • You understand the importance of teamwork and actively contribute to a supportive and innovative culture.
  • For global postings: You are proficient in both local and English languages.

Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, NDR, Zeek/Suricata, etc.

Experience: While 5 years is typical, we prioritize technical depth and situational fluency over years on a resume. You should have a proven track record of managing technical evaluations (POCs), translating complex networking/security concepts for various audiences, and a deep understanding of the Cybersecurity landscape.

Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead technical discovery and run complex Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

Education/Certifications: CISSP, SANS, or equivalent experience.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
