Job Title: Sr Sales Finance Analyst

Location: Dublin (Ireland) or Bracknell (UK)
Reports to: Sr Sales Finance Manager

Job Overview

An opportunity has arisen within the Commercial Team for a Sr Sales Finance Analyst to partner closely with the Pan-European Sales organisation, reporting to the Finance Manager.

In this role, you will support contract structuring across Cadence’s full portfolio to maximise value for both customers and Cadence. You will act as a key link between Sales and internal teams, providing commercial and financial insight throughout the contract lifecycle, from pre-sale through post-sale execution.

You will apply a strong understanding of different business models to recommend structures that support long-term customer success while meeting Cadence’s statutory and commercial requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support multiple regions across Europe from a European base
  • Advise Sales teams on contract structure and commercial considerations
  • Provide guidance on contracts pre- and post-sale, including issue resolution
  • Act as a point of coordination between Sales, Credit, Revenue Accounting and Legal teams
  • Liaise with delivery teams on all services-related engagements
  • Own contract flow from negotiation through order management processing and credit management
  • Coordinate with commission accounting teams
  • Balance statutory, business and customer requirements in contract execution
  • Maintain clear and effective internal communication with stakeholders
  • Manage and work within enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, CPQ, JIRA, eDAoT or similar)
  • Produce ad-hoc commercial and financial reporting as required
  • Travel occasionally to support regional stakeholders (approximately 10%)

Job Qualifications

Essential

  • Good commercial acumen with the ability to assess and advise on contract structures
  • Sound technical accounting knowledge
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Experience engaging confidently with Sales professionals at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • Finance background or equivalent relevant experience

  • Experience supporting commercial sales organisations
  • Exposure to multiple regions, including understanding of MEA considerations in contract structures
  • Experience working with enterprise finance, sales and contract management systems
