Job Summary

The Sr. Solutions Architect oversees onboarding new clients to Clearwater's SaaS platform, crafting and executing robust solution designs for various client implementations. They engage directly with clients to promote best practices, standardization, and gain approval for the solution design. As the solution owner, they closely collaborate with program managers to facilitate change during implementation, ensuring adherence to the design and a smooth transition of the client's business processes to Clearwater. This role is part of a collaborative division involving analysts, workstream team leads, and program managers. They also coordinate across departments, such as R&D, Sales, and other ops teams, to ensure client success.

Responsibilities

  • Execute requirements analysis and solution design for programs.
  • Work alongside Sales to initiate early scope, discovery, and SOW creation.
  • Apply deep domain expertise to evaluate, standardize, and document requirements for diverse investment accounting and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate internally to identify solutions, enhance the product roadmap, streamline client onboarding, reduce delivery timeframes, and establish repeatable/scalable processes.
  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with senior stakeholders, both within and outside Clearwater, to guide solutions and scope decisions.
  • Act as an advocate for Clearwater products and solutions within internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to implement change management during implementation.
  • Ensure clear alignment with Clearwater's vision and strategy.

Required Skills

  • Awareness of SaaS and cloud architecture.
  • Proven experience in complex implementations involving multi-tier architecture.
  • Deep knowledge on Accounting and Regulatory Reporting: Ex. Solvency II, NAIC, IFRS, GAAP, General Ledger.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s/ master's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
  • 9+ years of relevant experience as a subject matter expert, solution architect, program manager or related role.
  • Experience engaging with senior and executive leaders.
  • Clearwater experience preferred.
