Job Description
The Sr. Solutions Architect is a technical leader responsible for managing complex customer engagements and driving consumption strategies. This role involves building executive-level relationships and serving as a technical authority on enterprise data and AI strategies. The architect will leverage deep technical expertise to influence platform adoption and revenue growth while mentoring junior team members. The position requires a blend of strategic account planning and technical proficiency, particularly with the Databricks Platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, technical pre-sales leadership, or a senior customer-facing technical role
- Expert-level coding proficiency in Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark
- Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, including distributed systems at scale and data governance frameworks
- Expert-level knowledge of the Databricks Platform or equivalent depth in competing platforms
- Declared technical specialization in areas such as real-time architectures or ML/AI platforms
- Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts
- Executive presence to influence high-level stakeholders on data and AI strategy
- Experience leading competitive displacements and complex enterprise evaluations
- Strong strategic thinking skills connecting technical decisions to business outcomes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline

Responsibilities
- Drive the technical and consumption strategy for complex customer engagements
- Own senior-level technical relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
- Lead complex architecture engagements including enterprise-wide migrations and AI/ML at scale
- Operate as an expert on the Databricks Platform and mentor others
- Develop competitive strategies for customers against incumbent platforms
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions
- Coach and develop junior Solutions Architects on technical depth and customer engagement
- Contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership through workshops and community engagement
