Sr Solutions Manager - WMS
The Senior Solutions Manager is a senior client-facing role responsible for translating customer needs into commercially viable, technically sound solutions and executing billable professional services engagements. This role bridges sales, product, and delivery — owning scoping, SOW development, pre-sales demonstrations, and delivery oversight to ensure customer outcomes, on-time delivery, and margin targets.

Lead discovery workshops to capture business objectives, processes, and success metrics.

Create solution architectures, technical designs, and high-value proposals aligned to customer outcomes.

Develop accurate SOWs, resource plans, delivery timelines, assumptions, and risk registers.

Support commercial negotiations and provide input on pricing, T&Cs, and change control.

Serve as lead consultant on assigned billable engagements — run workshops, proof-of-concepts, implementations, and advisory services.

Coordinate with project managers and delivery teams to ensure scope control and customer satisfaction.

Monitor engagement financials (utilization, margin, billing milestones) and escalate risks early.

Build trusted advisor relationships with C-level and operational stakeholders.

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; support renewal and expansion motions.

Create reusable deliverables (accelerators, templates, runbooks, training materials).

Mentor and coach junior consultants; contribute to recruiting and skill development.

Capture lessons learned and drive process improvements.

Commercial / Billable Expectations
- Maintain a billable utilization target (suggested 65–80% depending on role mix).
- Responsible for accurate time capture, billing documentation, and timely invoicing support.
- Support revenue forecasting and pipeline hygiene for professional services bookings.
Success Metrics (Examples)
- Billable utilization percentage and revenue contribution vs target.
- Customer satisfaction / NPS for engagements.
- On-time/on-budget delivery rate and margin attainment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years in solution consulting, professional services, or solutions engineering with billable engagement experience.
- Experience writing SOWs and managing commercial professional services engagements.
- Strong stakeholder, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven problem-solving, process orientation, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
