Job Description Summary

The Sourcing Initiatives Leader will play a critical role in advancing strategic sourcing initiatives across SQDC priorities by partnering closely with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders. In addition to driving business outcomes, this leader will develop high-impact communications and executive-ready materials for senior leaders and key business audiences.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of business acumen, executive presence, and analytical rigor, along with the ability to distill complex information into clear, persuasive, and visually compelling action plans. Success in this role requires comfort in a fast-paced environment, sound judgment in handling confidential information, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across senior leadership and matrixed teams. A deep understanding of business drivers, strong data analytics skills, and a lean, continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives aligned to SQDC priorities, driving measurable improvements in business outcomes
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across sourcing, operations, EHS, Business development, and other functions to identify priorities, assess opportunities, and execute initiatives.
  • Translate complex sourcing, operational, and business information into concise, persuasive, and visually effective communications
  • Create executive-ready presentations, action plans, updates, and other materials for senior leadership and key business forums
  • Support leadership reviews, operating mechanisms, supplier discussions, and other high-visibility meetings with clear and compelling materials
  • Support and drive supplier conferences, all employee meetings, Kaizen events, corporate sourcing newsletters, and other engagement initiatives
  • Apply lean thinking and continuous improvement principles to solve problems, streamline processes, and enhance business performance
  • Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of quality, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with significant experience in sourcing, supply chain, operations, procurement, or a related business function
  • Prior experience working in a complex global matrixed organization with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to create clear, persuasive, and executive-ready presentations and communications with strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience supporting strategic sourcing or supplier performance initiatives in a complex business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action. Prior experience in lean six sigma problem-solving methodology & driving continuous improvement projects
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills. Change agent with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to present complex technical and commercial topics with clear, concise, and effective messaging to stakeholders and senior leadership teams
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to challenge the status quo and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
  • Prior Leadership program experience, such as OMDP, FMP, CAS, etc.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108,800.00 and $181,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
