Senior SCM Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Senior SCM Consultant to lead the functional design and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Supply Chain solutions. The role is responsible for owning the end-to-end functional solution across supply chain processes, guiding clients from business requirements gathering through fit-to-standard design, configuration, testing, and implementation, while working closely with business stakeholders, including senior leaders, to drive process transformation and ensure successful project outcomes.
The Senior SCM Consultant will contribute to the growth of the UK&I D365 practice by helping develop capabilities, delivery standards and enhance overall delivery excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules.
- Lead functional workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions with business stakeholders.
- Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules based on business requirements.
- Provide expertise across Supply Chain areas including Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Product Information Management, Master Planning, Transportation Management, and Sales Order Management.
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and work closely with technical teams on customizations and integrations.
- Support data migration activities, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and go-live deployments.
- Deliver end-user training and create process documentation to ensure successful adoption.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with global business teams and ensure alignment with operational and business objectives.
- Drive continuous process improvements and recommend best practices within D365 Supply Chain Management.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5 - 8 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant.
- Strong hands-on expertise in D365 SCM configuration and implementation.
- Deep understanding of procurement, inventory, warehouse, logistics, planning, and distribution processes.
- Experience in end-to-end D365 SCM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and collaborating with development teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and UAT activities.
- Exposure to Power Platform, Power BI, or Azure-based integrations is desirable.
- Experience working in manufacturing, retail, distribution, or supply chain-driven organizations is preferred.
