We work with industry-leading clients on projects that truly make an impact while supporting every team member in carving out their unique career path. With resources for learning, certifications, and hands-on experiences, Ness offers you more than just a job—it’s a place where your ideas, ambition, and well-being matter.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced hands-on Senior Technical Lead / Solution Architect to provide technical leadership, execute customer technology roadmap, architect scalable enterprise solutions, and lead the successful delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate should possess strong full-stack development expertise with Python, SQL, AWS & React JS, along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, DevOps practices, modern software architecture, and mentoring engineering teams.

The role requires a highly self-driven individual who can independently drive technical initiatives with minimal oversight while collaborating closely with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture for assigned products and platforms;
  • Define and drive the technology roadmap aligned with business objectives;
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate;
  • Make architectural decisions considering scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and cost;
  • Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines;
  • Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews;
  • Drive Migration from legacy to newer technology stack.

Solution Architecture

  • Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cloud-native applications;
  • Define microservices, APIs, integration patterns, messaging, and event-driven architectures;
  • Produce high-level and low-level design documents;
  • Ensure applications meet non-functional requirements including availability, reliability, observability, and security;
  • Drive API-first architecture and reusable component design.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
