Fire TV is how millions of people watch, share, and enjoy TV every day. As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Fire TV Live Middleware team, you will drive the strategy and execution that positions Fire TV as the global leader in entertainment — delivering the best experience for customers and partners alongside the broadest selection of Live content and services.

You'll lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering teams and external partners, including TV manufacturers, SoC vendors, and broadband operators. Your technical depth will enable you to navigate architectural trade-offs, while your program leadership will ensure delivery at scale across global markets.

This role demands someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to dynamic environments, and balances diverse stakeholder perspectives to ship products that delight customers. You'll work closely with software engineers, product managers, and Fire TV senior leadership to define roadmaps, remove blockers, and drive alignment across organizations.

The ideal candidate is passionate about product development, deeply interested in the TV and video entertainment domain, and brings a proven track record of delivering complex technology products from concept through global launch.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers, Senior Leadership, and Software Development Managers to define and deliver the next generation of Live Middleware components powering multiple device launches across global markets. This includes owning the end-to-end program lifecycle — from requirements through delivery — while ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Dive into challenges related to scalability, reliability, and performance of middleware systems that must operate seamlessly across a diverse partner ecosystem. Identify architectural risks early, drive mitigation strategies, and ensure technical decisions support long-term platform health.
  • Lead engagement with external standards bodies and certification organizations to launch Fire TV products worldwide, while driving critical cross-team programs that deliver best-in-class Live TV experiences for customers. Influence without authority and build consensus across organizational boundaries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
