Job Description: SR163 Authorised Project Site Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SR163 Authorised Project Site Manager to lead a key National Grid substation project from the civil phase through completion. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and timely delivery while promoting an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the site activities for the National Grid substation project, ensuring SR163 and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones within budget.
  • Monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain documentation and report progress, risks, and issues to management.
  • Promote diversity, equality, and inclusion within the team.
  • Identify and resolve site challenges proactively to minimize delays.
  • Facilitate clear communication among all project stakeholders.
  • Integrate environmental and sustainability best practices into project execution.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SR163 Authorised Project Site Manager on National Grid substation or similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering phases, site management, and National Grid standards.
  • Skilled in leading complex projects with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Relevant project management or civil engineering certifications.
  • Valid SR163 authorisation and site certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project conditions.
