We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to be responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages and products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system, efficiently, timely and safely.
This role will give you the opportunity to operate & improve inbound and outbound warehouse and distribution processes for wholesalers & end customers, being the SPOC of our internal customers (e.g., Customer Service, Account Managers, Finance Team). We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated individual to join our team who can thrive in an agile working environment. A typical day in this role will include:

- Establish and manage relations with warehouses, carriers, customs brokers and customer services teams.
- Assess and resolve issues relating to warehousing, distribution, customer problems, import and export, and logistics systems.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logistics data for daily, weekly, and quarterly reports including usage metrics, customer issues and resolutions, training records, work logs, and schedule documentation.
- Provide comprehensive logistical support daily for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Work to improve the logistics process by negotiating with suppliers, increasing efficiency, reducing unnecessary steps, and creating innovative solutions for logistical issues.
- Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies.
- Assist internal and external audits.
- Vendor invoice management including supporting accruals setting with the Finance Team.

What You Will Bring to Alcon:
Minimum Requirements:
- A level or equivalent
- Supply chain function understanding, experience in an FMCG or Medical environment.
- Management of third-party organizations and suppliers
- Experience of working in a busy, fast paced office environment
- Intermediate Excel skills required
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent Time Management
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams on a local and global level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree Qualified (Bachelor’s level)
- Experience of working with SAP is desirable
