About Us & The Role

Race Leys Infant School is proud to have recently established Meadow Fields, a new specialist resource provision based at our school for children with Communication and Interaction needs. This provision offers a calm, nurturing and highly inclusive environment where children are supported and educated in a way that is carefully matched to their individual strengths and needs. Rooted in our passion for play-based learning, we are committed to creating a space where every child feels safe, understood and able to thrive.

Following our recent Ofsted inspection, where we were graded Expected across all areas and recognised as being strong in inclusion, we are building on this positive foundation by developing our specialist provision. Inclusion is not an add-on at our school — it is central to who we are and underpins every aspect of our practice. Ofsted shared “Leaders also prioritise staff's wellbeing, fostering a positive and supportive culture” and “Pupils and staff are happy to be part of such a special place.”

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Meadow Fields. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with communication and interaction needs, including autism and speech, language and communication difficulties. You will share our belief that every child can succeed when provided with the right support, relationships and opportunities to thrive.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
